Women Who Lead Moderator: Michelle Gaulding, MBA

Valencia Bivens, Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Specialty Retail at The Coca-Cola Company

Valencia leads and develops a team of Sales Executives to deliver strategic value and growth for a portfolio of national customers. In her current role, Valencia leads 8 business verticals: Theme Park, Eater-tainment, Cinema, Specialty Retail/Concessionaires, Healthcare, Airlines, and Lodging which include American Airlines, Cinemark, Universal Studios, Hilton, and nearly 100 other accounts.

Valencia’s Marketing and now Sales career started with Hallmark Cards Headquarters. She also worked at Dr Pepper, Blockbuster, and Diageo – the world’s largest spirits manufacturer.

She also understands the rewards and challenges of entrepreneurship as the founder of Fresh Perspective Marketing. She is a graduate of the University of Southern California – Go Trojans! She is a Consortium for Graduate Studies Fellow and graduated from the University of Texas in Austin receiving an MBA in Marketing.

Alisa Johnson, District Sales Manager at Grainger

Alisa Johnson is a top-producing Dynamic Business Professional & Servant Leader with over 25 years of solution selling within large corporate organizations including W.W. Grainger, Corporate Express, Staples, Neopost, and Xerox.

Alisa is an extremely passionate energetic Business Leader with extensive experience in establishing & maintaining long-term business relationships, delivering profitability & revenue growth.

Alisa also serves as Director of Events for National Sales Network (NSN) Dallas/Fort Worth.

Alisa’s Award-winning track record across multiple industries & having held strategic & complex roles, demonstrating her ability to build and coach high-performing teams, sales operations, relationship management, effective communication skills, and consultative sales methods background gives her a distinctive leadership perspective and advantage.

Anita Lowe, MBA, Executive Director, Sales at Gilead Sciences

Anita Lowe joined Gilead in September of 2019 and has been in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years. Throughout Anita’s career she has held numerous roles in Field Sales, Sales Leadership, Market Research and Products and Markets Training.

Anita earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Detroit-Mercy. She lives in the Detroit metropolitan area of Michigan with her husband Andre’; whom she affectionately calls the most wonderful man in the world.

She enjoys spending time with family and friends, international travel, and Hot Yoga. In addition, she serves her community by helping to alleviate problems concerning girls and women through her beloved Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®

Stacy Townsend, RN, MBA, Structural Heart Regional Sales Director at Abbott

Stacy began her professional career as a critical care and trauma nurse but after earning her MBA, she followed her passion to pursue a career in sales and has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. In her current role as Regional Sales Director of the Central Region US, Surgical Valves, she leads a team of sales professionals responsible for driving market share growth of surgical heart valves. Her unique background as a healthcare provider and sales leader allows her to successfully collaborate with medical professionals on a clinical level while also maximizing her company’s sales goals.

Stacy is a graduate of Auburn University and earned her MBA at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
